Spa Toscana Frequently Asked Questions

Are reservations required?

Reservations at Spa Toscana are highly recommended and subject to availability. We suggest arriving a minimum of one hour prior to your scheduled appointments to allow ample time for check-in. Latecomers will experience a shortened treatment time. For Spa and Salon reservations or general information, please call 775.689.7190. For group reservations of 10 or more, please contact our spa shift manager at 775.389.7321.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your photo ID. We will provide you with a robe, sandals and private locker for your personal belongings. Bring your bathing suit if you wish to use the Spa pools. Please do not bring jewelry or other valuables. Spa Toscana is not responsible for lost items.

Am I allowed to bring in food or drink or my own alcohol?

Spa Toscana does not allow outside food or beverage to be brought into the Spa. There are complimentary beverages and edibles available on all Spa floors as well as Room Service on the 4th floor Caldarium that can provide food and drink as requested. Alcoholic beverages are allowed to be consumed on the 4th floor Caldarium and outside deck only.

What is your cell phone and electronic device policy?

We strive to provide our guests a tranquil escape. Please assist us by powering off cell phones and electronics upon entering the Spa. Lockers are provided for your belongings. Cameras, video and voice calls are not allowed in the Spa.

Is there a minimum age for treatments, use of Spa facilities and the Caldarium?

Guests must be 18 years or over to receive spa services. Also, all guests must be 18 years or over to use all of the facilities (spa locker areas with steam, sauna, hot and cold plunge pools, and our caldarium area). Guests ages 8-17 – May receive only the following treatments at the Spa: manicures, pedicures, salon make over, hair styling and cutting services. Since these guests are unable to use our Spa locker areas and Caldarium area, we have a separate entrance to our salon. Upon check-in at the Spa, we will escort all parties to the salon.

Do I have to disrobe entirely for a treatment?

Undergarments are not necessary but can be worn if preferred. Our therapists are trained to properly drape any body part not being treated. If you have a gender preference for your massage therapist, please advise us when making your reservation..

Should I alert someone if I have a medical condition, allergy or disability?

Yes, please inform our spa receptionist when you call for a reservation if you are pregnant, have allergies or any other condition we should be aware of.

Is gratuity included in the price of the treatment?

We add an additional 20% gratuity to the price of the service. Additional gratuities are discretionary and are appreciated by the staff for outstanding service.

Do you sell and/or accept Gift Cards?

Peppermill gift cards are available in any denomination or for a specified service. Should you have another type of gift card, please confirm with Spa Concierge at the time of reservation to make sure that gift card is valid at Spa Toscana.

What is your rescheduling / cancellation policy?

As a courtesy to all, we ask that a 6-hour notice be given if you need to cancel or change your appointment time. If an appointment is cancelled or changed less than 6 hours prior to the scheduled service, the charge is 50% of the service price. A “no-show” appointment is charged full service price. Group reservations are subject to contracted agreement.

Disclaimer: Spa Toscana guests must be 18 years of age or older. Salon Toscana guests must be 8 years of age or older. Smoking is prohibited in the Spa and Salon. Cell phones and other electronic devices must be on silent. Spa Toscana does not assume any liability for personal items.

Do you accept Spa Finder or Spa Wishes Gift Cards?

We are happy to accept Spa Finder and Spa Wishes gift cards as forms of payment at Spa Toscana. Please note that we do not offer any further discounts, including the local’s discount, when these gift cards are used.
